Choosing the right Veranda for you
Every Veranda is as unique as your home. It is also designed (by you and us here at KRB) to fit in to your lifestyle, so we ensure that you are totally happy with the design, colour, and price before any construction begins.
If a Veranda is part of a bigger home improvement project (such as an Extension, Bi-Fold Doors, or Window replacement), then you are most likely to want the aluminium framework to match, but it doesn’t have to.
The framework comes in a standard range of colours such as white, black, and anthracite grey, but is available to almost any standard RAL colour of your choosing.
We can match your window and/or door frames to ensure a seamless, contemporary appearance and enhance the feel of the outside coming in, and the inside moving out.
A Veranda from KRB comes with our unique range of Atlas Celsius Elite glass with its special self-clean coating – a microscopic film which helps daylight and rainwater break-down and wash away dirt and grime.
The self-cleaning technology uses both rain and UV light from the sun to efficiently combat dirt and grime that might accumulate on the upper surface of the glass. Thus, the need for manual cleaning is significantly reduced.
No – you absolutely won’t.
Our Veranda glass uses a special Low-E and Solar-control combination coating, which controls the amount of visible light, UV, and heat that passes through the glazed unit. Destructive UV rays are reduced by up to 94%, thus offering protection for furniture, fabrics – and humans – from sun damage.
The glass is available in neutral, blue, and green tints.
All Atlas glazed-roof units supplied by KRB incorporate toughened safety glass and are manufactured to the highest British and European Standards, accredited to BS EN 1279 parts 2 & 3 and BS EN 12150.
