Helping you find the Roof Lantern that’s right for you

More sky, less roof. A Roof Lantern or Flat Rooflight lets natural light flood into your home, and with modern sealed units, Low-E glass, and thermally efficient ‘rafters’ they keep the heat in in winter, and the heat out in summer.

Yes, absolutely. The construction method we use is twice as thermally efficient as its nearest competitor. And if you upgrade to triple glazing it will be three times as efficient. The overall U-value can be as low as 0.7 when triple-glazed or 1.2 when double-glazed.

A combination of low emissivity inner glass and argon gas filling means our solar-control glass gives twice the insulation of ordinary double glazing, which reduces energy costs and keeps the room below warmer in winter.

Our regular Roof Lanterns are available in a range of stock ‘standard’ sizes, such as 1m x 2m, 1.5m x 2.5m, 2m x 3m, and 2m x 4m, but we can make then to any specific size you need, up to a huge maximum of 5m wide by 10m long. That’s a lot of light!

No, you won’t. The slim, thermally broken aluminium rafter sections have a sleek appearance that brings a stylish ambience and modern finish, while maximising the use of light and space within your home.

By keeping sight lines (the rafters that hold the glass) low and unobtrusive, we ensure even a large glazed roof structure won’t over dominate.

And from the outside, our discreet design for rafter external caps and sleek ridge are a world apart from the chunky conventional T-bar caps and ridges used on other systems.

Absolutely not! You can have pretty much any colour you like, chosen from the standard RAL colour chart (more than 200 colours available).

All our Roof Lantern framework uses thermally broken extruded aluminium rafters which can be coloured using the most advanced powder-coating process. This ensures a much tougher finish than conventional spray painting used on timber or uPVC, whilst all powder-coated components are colour guaranteed for 10 years.
